Hearty Cabbage Soup
Serves 8. A great recipe for left over ham.
6 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
4 stalks celery, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
1 medium nion chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium cabbage, shredded
1⁄2 cup barley, uncooked
2 cups ham, cooked
1 Tbsp dried parsley
Add egg noodles if desired.
Place all ingredients in a large pot over high heat.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 1⁄2 hours.
