Flood recovery centre set up at Sakimay

A Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) recovery centre will be set up on the Sakimay First Nation.
The flood recovery centre, which will be at the Sakimay school gym, is set up through the Saskatchewan government and aims to provide those affected by the recent floods with information, program, and services.
There will be representatives from:
- Emergency Management and Fire Safety,
- Building Standards,
- The Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP),
- The ministries of Social Services, Health, Agriculture, Environment,
- SaskPower and SaskEnergy,
- Water Security Agency including the Emergency Flood Reduction Damage Program,
- The Canadian Red Cross, and
- Other Non Government Organizations
Anyone - including residents, small businesses, agricultural operations, communal organizations, non-profit organizations, parks - can attend the Centre, which will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on July 14.
