The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) as licensee opened its first TIM HORTONS® inside the Dakota Dunes Casino (DDC) on July 8th, 2016.
SIGA’s President and CEO Zane Hansen says the TIM HORTONS® will provide new growth opportunities for the casino that currently employs over 440 people at the casino at Whitecap Dakota First Nation, south of Saskatoon.

“Part of SIGA’s vision is to create employment opportunities. By partnering with a national brand like TIM HORTONS® and opening this location we’re able to create new jobs at our casino,” he said.
SIGA will also have the chance to participate in community investment initiatives that are supported by TIM HORTONS®.
“By opening this location, we can partner with TIM HORTONS® on initiatives like the Timbits® Minor Sports program which provides a chance for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports.” Hansen said.
The patron experience will also be enhanced with the opening of this new location, according to Gary Daniels, General Manager at the Dakota Dunes Casino.
“Opening the TIM HORTONS® has expanded our food and beverage offerings by having a greater variety of product available throughout the day. I’m excited for our patrons to come and try out the TIM HORTONS® beverages, sandwiches and pastries being served in our casino.”
TIM HORTONS® will be open at 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. daily at the Dakota Dunes Casino.
